Preliminary results from the initiative promoted by the project It’s Natural indicate around 60 meetings between Brazilian companies and buyers from the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Poland.
Cachoeiro de Itapemirim (Espírito Santo, Brazil), September 02, 2026 – The International Round of Negotiations held during Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2026 generated around US$600 thousand in immediate business and generated expectations of an additional US$3.9 million in sales over the next 12 months. These preliminary results reflect around 60 meetings between Brazilian natural stone companies and international buyers held on August 26 and 27.
Promoted by It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, a sectoral project developed by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the initiative brought together five buyers from three countries: two from the United Arab Emirates, two from Mexico, and one from Poland.
Overall, 15 Brazilian companies took part in the Round of Negotiations – 13 of them from the state of Espírito Santo, one from Ceará, and one from Paraná: Atlas Mármores, Borchardt, Cajugram, Gramil, Magban, Marbrasa, MGA, Michelângelo, Mineração Agreste, Monte Negro, Nova Aurora, Panorama, Poliex, Santo Antonio, and Terlos Stones.
The Round of Negotiations is part of the internationalization strategy developed by It’s Natural to expand business opportunities for the Brazilian industry and diversify export destinations. The initiative is particularly significant at a time when the sector has been seeking to strengthen existing markets and accelerate the penetration into new markets. In 2025, Brazilian exports of natural stones reached US$1.48 billion, with sales to 132 countries.
According to the manager of the sectoral project, Thiago Fukuda, the initial results reaffirm the importance of creating business opportunities within and outside Brazil. “Our sector has a large export capacity, and we need to keep creating pathways to connect companies with new buyers. When we bring these contacts to a trade show such as Cachoeiro Stone Fair, we allow easier access and increase the chances of turning relationships into business deals,” he says.
