Brazilian participation in Marmomac Italy generates US$49 million in actual and projected business deals

Exhibitors at Space It’s Natural established more than 3,000 business contacts, strengthening relationships and opening up opportunities with buyers from different continents.

Brazil’s participation in Marmomac Italy 2026, held from September 22 to 25 in Verona, generated US$49.06 million in business deals concluded at the event and projected over the next 12 months. Of this total, US$13.18 million came from deals closed during the trade fair, while US$35.88 million represents expected sales stemming from contacts made at the event. These results were consolidated following a survey carried out with the participating companies.

The Brazilian presence was supported by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), partners in the sectoral project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone. For the second year in a row, Brazil occupied an entire hall at Marmomac, bringing together 42 Brazilian companies.

Besides the financial impact, Brazil’s participation resulted in 3,021 business contacts, 1,794 of which were new. This means that nearly six out of every ten contacts represented new business connections for Brazilian companies, expanding opportunities to build relationships and generate business in different markets.

“Marmomac has shown that Brazil’s participation extends well beyond the business deals negotiated during the fair itself. We are strengthening existing business relationships and, most importantly, expanding our network of potential international buyers. This effort is essential for building a more consistent presence in the markets and creating long-term business opportunities,” says Tales Machado, the president of Centrorochas.

Market diversification

Poland, China, the United States, and India were among the countries most frequently mentioned by exhibitors, alongside Italy and the United Kingdom. Contact with audiences from these regions underscores the international reach of Marmomac; even though it is held in Italy, the event connects the Brazilian stone industry to opportunities across several continents.

According to Maria Paula Velloso, a director at ApexBrasil, the event’s reach aligns with the market diversification strategy that the Brazilian agency has been pursuing in partnership with the sector. “ApexBrasil, together with Centrorochas, is working toward market diversification. The United States is currently the primary market for Brazilian stone, but we are expanding our reach. In conversations with companies here at the event, we saw buyers from the Middle East, from Europe itself, and from other markets,” she noted during the trade fair.

The partnership also received positive feedback from exhibitors. In a survey conducted after the event, 100% of respondents rated the support provided by Centrorochas and ApexBrasil as “relevant” or “very relevant.”

The 2026 edition also marked an expansion of the Brazilian presence at Marmomac, which celebrated its 60th anniversary. For the second year in a row, the space dedicated to Brazil brought together companies at different stages of their internationalization journeys, including first-time exhibitors, recurring participants, and companies returning to the fair. Out of the Brazilian companies in the hall, 41 are part of the sectoral project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone.

Space It’s Natural consisted of 32 companies.

Participating companies included: Altivo Pedras, Andrade Stones, Bluestones, Bramagran, Cajugram, Calvi Granitos, CS3 Revestimentos, Della Pietra, Fortuna, Gramil, Granex do Brasil, Granipex, Graniti Export, Granos, IBMG Mineração, Imarf, Madson Pedras, Magban, Magnitos, Mameri Export, MGA, Micapel Slate, Monte Negro, Nova Aurora, Paraná, Pedra do Frade, Pemagran, Santo Antonio Stones, Sociedade Mamífera, Stone Palace, Super Clássico, and Yellow Stone.
