During a two-day visit to Espírito Santo state, on May 17 and 18, when they had the opportunity to visit companies supported by It’ Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, the manager of the project at the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Emerson Raiol, who is also president of the managing committee of the sectorial program, conducted the first meeting of the year of the group, together with Rogério Ribeiro, manager of It’s Natural at the Brazilian Center of Ornamental Stones Exporters (Centrorochas), executing entity of the sectorial project.
The meeting took place in the Findes Building, in Vitória, and counted on the virtual participation of members of the committee who were in different locations, and the president of Centrorochas, Tales Machado.
On the agenda, discussions about strategic issues that will significantly impact the future of the sector of ornamental stones. Among them, the Brazilian participation in the Xiamen Stone Fair 2023, the main ornamental stone fair in the East, the second largest destination for the Brazilian segment, which will take place from June 5th to 8th, in China, and the proposition of a change in the participation strategy in international events.
Another fair discussed at the meeting was Marmomac 2023 and the ways in which the companies can participate. Besides the presence in the traditional pavilion of plates, this year the companies will have the possibility to exhibit blocks. A new space is being formatted. The information will be released soon. Marmomac is the most important world fair dedicated to the entire stone production chain and will take place from September 26 to 29, in Verona, Italy.
After the market study, prospective mission, and the presentation seminar held last year, Centrorochas and ApexBrasil confirmed the Commercial Mission to Mexico for August this year. The date and registration will be informed in the next few days. The commercial action aims to bring entrepreneurs closer to those interested in Brazilian ornamental stones, according to the opportunities raised by the previous study, in order to do business.
As a last agenda, Emerson Raiol and Karina Porto Firme, communication consultant for Centrorochas and It’s Natural, visited Tipz, the advertising agency that takes care of the sector’s project actions. They were received by the executive director, Lygia Bellotti.
