BRAZILIAN EXPORTERS MAKE THE FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR COVERINGS 2022

The management team of the Brazilian Center of Natural Stone Exporters (Centrorochas), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), gathered the exhibitors of the Brazilian Pavilion at Coverings 2022 for a strategic alignment meeting on March 03. The fair, regarded as the largest event in the marble and granite industry in North America, will take place from April 05 to 08, in Las Vegas (USA) and will feature 72 Brazilian companies supported by the project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, a result of the partnership established between the two organizations.

More than 80 participants attended the meeting, which was held online. During his opening remarks, ApexBrasil’s project coordinator, Paulo Roberto da Silva, celebrated the resumption of in-person events. “Last year, our participation was institutional and we were directly supported by 25 companies; we were in the middle of the pandemic. In this 2022 edition, in turn, we are very pleased to participate with almost three times the number of companies and in person. We will see a Brazil that is better positioned and excellently represented,” he noted.

Centrorochas’ president, Tales Machado, highlighted that the entire team is committed to creating the perfect environment for business to boom for the companies. “Our care began when signing the sectoral agreement. We focus on the development of the industry as a whole. One example of that was the decrease in the values of the booths to make it easier for companies to participate,” he recalled.
