A meeting in Brasília announced the results of the partnership established in 2021 and marked the first alignment between Centrorochas and the new leadership of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.
On June 22, the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) participated in an institutional meeting with the new president of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Laudemir Müller, in the city of Brasília. The gathering marked the first alignment between the organization and the new leadership of the Agency, focusing on the sector’s achievements and on strategies to expand the presence of Brazilian natural stones in the international market.
During the meeting, the main results achieved by the industry in recent years were presented, including growing exports, increased participation of companies in initiatives promoted by the sectoral project, and the strengthening of the positioning of Brazilian natural stones globally.
The partnership between Centrorochas and ApexBrasil was established in 2021 and is currently in its third execution cycle. During this period, joint initiatives contributed to expanding the presence of Brazilian companies in foreign markets, drumming up business, and establishing Brazil’s image as a major global supplier of natural stones.
The discussions also addressed issues that are deemed priorities for the continued growth of Brazilian exports, with particular emphasis on creating international demand and diversifying markets. The meeting also underscored the importance of the joint efforts between Centrorochas and ApexBrasil in expanding business opportunities and strengthening the sector’s competitiveness internationally.
Centrorochas’ delegation was led by its president, Tales Machado, and also included its vice president, Fabio Cruz, its superintendent, Giovanni Francischetto, and its project manager, Thiago Fukuda. The president, Laudemir Müller, the director, Maria Paula Velloso, the manager, Mariele Lais Christ, and the coordinator of Industry and Services, Paulo Roberto da Silva, represented ApexBrasil.
