Review of Coverings 2022 marks It’s Natural Management Committee meeting

After the results achieved during the Brazilian participation at Coverings 2022 through the Sectoral Project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, held in Las Vegas at the beginning of April, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and the Brazilian Center of Natural Stone Exporters (Centrorochas) announce the presence of the natural stone sector at Casa Brasil New York 2022, between May 11th and 25th, with more sectors involved and a curator hired specifically for this event. The event takes place in parallel to the ICFF (The International Contemporary Furniture Fair), the largest showcase for contemporary furniture design in North America.

 

In a privileged location in SoHo, New York’s famous design district, between Broadway and Mercer Streets, a region with a high tourist flow, Casa Brasil New York will be held in an exhibition format, putting the products, materials, sustainability and Brazilian design integrated to the industry in focus.

 

With the concept “Brasil in Natura, terra adentro” as its theme, and curated by Natasha Schlobach, the space will have a robust and diverse structure, both to receive visitors and to carry out different activities, including business rounds between Brazilian companies and international buyers, relationship events with the press, as well as the promotion of Brazilian art and gastronomy.

 

Brazilian natural stones

Four companies from the Brazilian stone sector will exhibit at the show: CF Stones, Gramazini, Samuel de Almeida + Pemagran and Stone Bank. The objective of the event is to promote Brazilian products with high design, quality, sustainability and innovation.

 

Casa Brasil New York 2022 is organized by ApexBrasil, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consulate of Brazil in New York and important sector entities related to housing, decoration and construction: Centrorochas (Brazilian Center of Natural Stone Exporters); Abimóvel (Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries); ABACT (Brazilian Association of Contemporary Art); Abilux (Brazilian Association of the Lighting Industry); Anfacer (National Association of Manufacturers of Ceramics for Coatings, Sanitary Ware and Congeners) and IBGM (Brazilian Institute of Gems & Precious Metals).

 

About It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone

It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone is an export incentive program developed by the Brazilian Center of Natural Stone Exporters (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The program aims to stimulate and increase the exports of Brazilian natural stones, through a set of strategic actions for internationalization with promotional activities, strengthening the image and development of the sector in the world market.
