The Management Committee Approves It’s Natural action at Casa Brasil Londres

The recurring meeting of the It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone Management Committee, an export incentive program developed by the Brazilian Center of Natural Stone Exporters (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), held on June 1st, was marked by the deliberation of new actions, among them, the participation of the Brazilian natural stone sector at Casa Brasil London 2022, which will take place from August 25th to September 8th.

Casa Brasil is organized by the Agency with the support and in partnership with several entities. This year, in May, from the 11th to the 25th, It’s Natural participated in the New York edition; besides the companies from the sector that had pieces exhibited at the show, the project held a lecture for architects, designers and local press, where they could talk about the potential of Brazilian stones and the infinite possibilities of creations they provide. For the London edition, besides the direct action with local specifiers, there will be an opportunity for companies from the sector to exhibit design pieces. The analyst and manager of the It’s Natural sectoral project, from ApexBrasil, Emerson Raiol, highlighted the importance of the segment’s presence in events like this one. “The image of the project and Brazilian natural stones is being strengthened, reaching specialized professionals who still don’t know much about our real potential, thus the sector is reaching another level and finding opportunities previously unknown or little explored”, he said. The meeting with the management committee was conducted by Raiol and Rogerio Ribeiro (Centrorochas). Check out the other subjects discussed:

Bond Events Five Star Bahamas

From May 19th to 22nd, the Brazilian stone sector was shown to about 50 senior professionals representing large American and European architecture and interior design firms, in The Bahamas, in Nassau. There were eight meetings with groups of up to six people for the presentation of the national sector. Besides the institutional participation, three companies from the segment participated in business rounds. These companies, which were selected directly by ApexBrasil, participated in the action carried out by the national agency’s office in Miami. “The invitations for the Bond Events 2022 were sent via mailing to the registered companies to inform them of the action and invite them to participate in the selection process, following the regulation prepared by ApexBrasil. In case some of them are not receiving these e-mails with information and opportunities of direct actions, we instruct them to send an e-mail to apexbrasil@apexbrasil.com.br”, highlighted the sectoral projects analyst of ApexBrasil, Emerson Raiol.

01-year project seminar

The Centrorochas and ApexBrasil partnership for the execution of the sectoral agreement completed one year in May. As a way to continue with its transparent and collaborative performance, a seminar is being scheduled to present a balance review of the actions carried out over this period and the next steps. The event is expected to take place in August. More information will be released soon.

International Strategic Planning

From June 8th to 11th, representatives from five stone industry associations will be meeting in London. The unprecedented meeting will gather representatives from Brazil, Turkey, Portugal, Italy and the United States in order to develop an international strategic plan for the promotion of natural stones in the USA. Brazil, the main supplier of natural stones to the country, is looking for a leading role in the market’s actions and direction. “We are going to take a marketing plan proposition to start the debate on something concrete. We cannot stay out of this discussion”, pointed out the vice-president of Centrorochas, Fabio Cruz.

Marmomac 2022

One of the main events in the world of the stone sector, Marmomac will take place from September 27th to the 30th, in Verona, Italy. The Brazilian participation is being organized by ApexBrasil, with institutional support from It’s Natural and Centrorochas. During the fair, promotional activities of the national segment are planned, as well as an edition of the Stone Summit, live, direct from the event. Companies still interested in participating in Marmomac 2022 can contact the ApexBrasil or Centrorochas team to get on the waiting list.

Accountability

Every six months of the partnership signed between Centrorochas and ApexBrasil, there is a report on the actions developed by It’s Natural. At the end of May, the Agency approved the report referring to the first installment of the agreement, gathering actions carried out between May and October last year. This week, the documents referring to the activities developed between November 2021 and April this year were sent.

Mexico 2022 Study

The Commercial Intelligence project, aiming at understanding the specificities of the Mexican market to guide marketing and commercial strategies in that market, is scheduled to be delivered this month. The next step will be a prospective mission to validate the information gathered, hold meetings with local players, and collect new information. The schedule, however, still includes seminars and a Commercial Mission to the country.

The Big 5 Dubai 2022

After participating in the 2021 edition of The Big 5 Dubai, It’s Natural plans its presence in this year’s edition, which will take place from December 5th to the 8th. The event unites the global construction community and provides innovation and business opportunities throughout the Middle East. Following ApexBrasil’s orientation, the national stone sector will present itself through an institutional booth and direct actions to local specifiers.
