Webinar for Chinese specifiers exhibits all the power of Brazilian stones

About 80 architecture and design professionals from China participated in the webinar “Get to know the power of Brazilian stones”, promoted by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), from the Chinese office, with support of It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone and the Brazilian Center of Natural Stones Exporters (Centrorochas), on October 19th.

The entrepreneur Gonsalo Machado, who has more than 25 years of experience in exports of Brazilian stones, and the international stone specifier, Paulo Giafarov, conducted the lecture and approached Brazil’s potentialities in the natural stone segment. Besides having the largest geological diversity in the world, Brazil has a large industrial park for the supply of blocks, finished and semi-finished products, works of art, design, architecture, among others.

“Brazil and China have been commercial partners for a long time, mainly regarding the commercialization of blocks. Today, we have shown that the country has the capacity to go further. We have large mineral reserves that allow us to produce in high scale to meet demands in large volumes”, said Gonsalo Machado.

By means of photos and videos that showed, for example, the material’s entire trajectory, from the extraction of the stone in the quarry to the installation in an environment or finished design piece, Paulo Giafarov showed the possibilities of use and creation with natural materials. The ways of using the Brazilian natural stones are limited by the creativity of its specifier. Besides being surprising for their colors, textures and patterns, we have material and technology to reach very daring finishing qualities”, he reinforced.

At the end of the presentation, the participants had the opportunity to interact with the speakers and showed interest in connecting and getting to know Brazilian products more closely. The event was attended by the Sectoral Projects Analyst and Manager of the It’s Natural sectoral Project at ApexBrasil, Emerson Raiol, and the Manager of It’s Natural Project, Rogério Ribeiro.
